New features on the Consew® model 2206RB-14-7-DD sewing machine include a presser feet connecting rod that allows for presser feet to alternate more efficiently and a top thread electric clamping system for trimming. Other benefits include a direct drive motor (no belt connection required) and fully automatic functions including an automatic electric foot lift and an automatic lubrication system. For sewing light- to heavy-weight fabric, canvas, leather, vinyl, synthetics and laminated and coated materials for products including auto, boat and furniture upholstery; tarpaulins; covers; awnings; tents; ballistic armor; and parachute containers.
