The latest addition of the “AATCC Technical Manual” is now available. It includes new test methods, as well as revisions and updates of existing methods and evaluation procedures for textiles. Two of the new test methods include one for seam twist in garments before and after
home laundering and a hydrostatic pressure test using a restraint for water resistance. The manual also includes 18 revised standards appearing for the first time. AATCC is a not-for- profit association serving textile professionals that provides test method development, quality control materials, and professional networking for members throughout the world.
