The Yarns and Fibers Exchange (YnFx), Bombay, India, recently launched two reports that forecast market trends and prices in the polyester and nylon supply chains. The reports provide price forecasts on the fifth of each month and estimate prices for the quarter and year’s end in Asia, the U.S. and Europe. YNFX plans to look at trends in raw material (such as crude oil and naphtha) and “downstream” impacts in petrochemicals, fiber intermediates, chips, filament yarns and staple fiber. A year’s subscription costs €350.
