Cognex Corp. has introduced the In-Sight® 7010, an entry-level vision system developed specifically for inspection tasks where vision sensors are too limited and a standard system may not be cost effective. Self-contained system includes autofocus optics and integrated lighting in a compact housing. The built-in autofocus capability is recommended for production situations requiring regular part changes, or applications that require the vision system to be placed in hard-to-reach spaces. Users can also fine-tune focus levels manually with the interactive software. Integrated white lighting is featured; four optional colored lights are also available.
