Sciessent expands bluesign® partnership

Sciessent, provider of environmentally-friendly antimicrobial and anti-odor solutions, has partnered with bluesign® systems for their fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent (DWR), CURB. CURB joins Sciessent’s odor absorbing Lava technology on a list of bluesign-approved products. Engineered to keep harmful fluorocarbons out of the environment, CURB delivers the same water repellent performance as existing technologies. Textile manufacturers who become bluesign system partners agree to establish and follow management systems for improving environmental performance in resource productivity, consumer safety, water emissions, air emissions and occupational health and safety.
