The Nightingale Award for innovative products that contribute to the quality of healthcare has gone for the second consecutive year to C.F. Stinson, Rochester Hills, Mich. C.F. Stinson’s Patterned PVC-Free Upholstery Collection won the award this year at the Health Care Design ’08 Conference November 11, 2008. The collection is soft, exceeds 400,000 double rubs, can be bleach disinfected, has a built-in silver-based antimicrobial system, and is comprised of 80 percent recycled materials. The three patterns (Hoopla, Eclipse and Flutter) are available in an array of colors. The collection, introduced in June 2008 at the NeoCon World Trade Fair, was honored for a “Best of NeoCon” Award for New Healthcare Fabrics.
